Lenticular Alpha Komix Stickers

These were done for a lenticular alphabet sticker set that unfortunately never got produced.  From one angle you'd see a letter of the alphabet, but if turned slightly would reveal a comic panel related to the letter. Woulda been cool! Oh well.

Utilizing a demon drawing I did last year, I colored this up in Photoshop for entry into a Facebook contest sponsored by Heavy Metal magazine and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse graphic novel. The theme was 'War.'

I've started coloring up in Photoshop my Work Buddies sketchcard series. Here are the first two.

Amanda Bananas

I recently completed a job designing and illustrating a full wrap artwork for a food truck/trailer in Hoboken, NJ. They serve a soft serve ice cream creation, made from frozen whole bananas.  I haven't tried it yet, but once the truck is up and running, I definitely will.

Here's the art mocked up on a template of the truck and a couple of photos of the finished art on one side of the truck and the back.  The artwork on the front of the trailer is the same as the back and the top carries an image of the monkey along with their logo.

This started out as a sketch of Woola, the dog-like creature that John Carter has as a sidekick/pet..It changed from there, but the basic facial structure is Woola...the sides of his face are cut off in this pic, so it's less obvious.

These and some other sketches started out as me just testing out the dozens of markers and pens and brush pens I've got....seeing what was dried up, what could be salvaged (a dry brush side, but ok pen side) and throwing out the ones beyond even worth keeping around for dry brush shading...they were spent.
