This is one of the badges I created for the Monsteriffic style guide.

Monsteriffic

This was designed as part of a proposal to Michael's stores for their 2012 Recollections Halloween line of dimensional stickers. I created a full style guide, including fonts, characters, badges and characters, but the whole thing was shelved and we went with a different look instead. The monster font wound up going to the Sticko department (another division of EK Success Brands) and I believe that should be in stores soon. Here's a rough logo I did for the Monsteriffic style guide pitch, using the pencil sketches for the uppercase font.

Captain Comic from Comic Book Collector Video

This is from the archives...a comic page I illustrated in 1990 for a video on the history of the American comic book, entitled 'Comic Book Collector.' It was hosted by Frank Gorshin, best known for his role as The Riddler in the 1960's Batman TV series.  It was released on VHS video tape back in the ancient days of 1990, by Blue Flame Productions.

Lenticular Alpha Komix Stickers

These were done for a lenticular alphabet sticker set that unfortunately never got produced.  From one angle you'd see a letter of the alphabet, but if turned slightly would reveal a comic panel related to the letter. Woulda been cool! Oh well.

Utilizing a demon drawing I did last year, I colored this up in Photoshop for entry into a Facebook contest sponsored by Heavy Metal magazine and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse graphic novel. The theme was 'War.'
