Hannya

This is the initial sketch and finished inks and colors for a print I'm working on at the moment...it's a Japanese themed design, incorporating some tattoo style imagery. This drawing is based on a Hannya mask, from the Japanese Noh theater and represents the spirit of a jealous woman.

I've been fortunate (and privileged) to see the other elements for this print and it is truly kool. You have to post the whole piece, when you're finished.

this example of hannya is wicked! just the sort of enterpritation im looking for to be painted onto the scabbord of my new 9260 differentially hardened etc, kaze katana... real nice example!

dont worry i wont have my artist rip off your hard work.

i will show him this as an example of what im looking towards though if thats okay with you?

keep up the talent my friend!

contact me @ ronnieroosta@live.co.uk, for any suggestions on the motiff.

my vision will be a design about 1/4 up the scabbord around 50mm by 100mm in length in the same colour as the same' (ray skin) obviously in white to compliment the black scabbord.

check it! on cheness cutlery.com/9260 kaze katana.

tell me ya views on how you think it should look?

best regards.
