This was one of the last designs I worked on at my job before they closed down the men's division. Nothing was ever done with this artwork, which I think would have made a pretty cool pair of boxers. The final image had Japanese characters running down the side reading 'Giant Robot', made to look sort of like an old Japanese movie poster. Here are a couple of different takes on the concept, sans lettering and the final design as it would have looked.

Thanks, Glennniitto! It's a combo of Illustrator and Photoshop. The robot was 'inked' in Illustrator...well, drawn in AI, over my pencil sketch. I guess that accounts for the lack of flourish in it's lines. No real thick to thin to speak of. All the colors and effects were done in Photoshop. Yeh, I think this would have been impossible without these programs! The robot was placed on the left leg of the boxer and the type down the right side....maybe I shall post the croquis of the short!

Thanks, Dan. Unfortunately, none of the stuff in this line got anywhere. I don't even know if any buyers got to see this one - they shut down the men's division just a couple of weeks after I did it. Still, it was fun to work on and I learned some new techniques putting it together.
