Recent and Not So Recent Sketches

It's been a while since my last post, 'tis true. Longer than it should be! Some notes on the sketches - the anime looking guy was for briefs and boxers - I ultimately used a different pose, but with the same Dragonball/Yu-Gi-Oh kinda character, but more beefed up. I'll post the color ver. of that one of these days. The other drawings are from home and work (the infamous sketches you do while 'waiting for something to save' or 'print'...),just some loose stuff.

cool sketch dump man!

of the bunch i'm diggin' the black ink post-its the most.

there's a simplicity in them that i like and the sequential comic style layout is forcing my brain to make a story out of it!

I recognize that last one- the toned paper works well. I'll have to get you one of those sketchbooks for your last birthday which I wasn't invited to. I'll give it to you when I give you your wedding present.

Yeah, it's great to finally get some new stuff to check out. I totally dig your monster, as always, but I'm starting to crave seeing them in action some more and not just posing for the camera.

Thanks, guys. Jason, I'd love to do some sequential stuff with the monsters...eventually.

The last drawing that Dan is referring to was done in a sketchbook of his...I love that toned paper...I'd gladly accept a smiliar book - thanks, Dan..I'm sure the wedding portrait is gonna look great.

Rob - thanks, man, and you're totally on target...I gotta get these guys to move some more.

Thanks, Charles.
