Lycanthrope

I've long held a fascination for werewolves, going back even before The Howling and An American Werewolf in London finally realized on screen an amazing Werewolf transformation. In High School, wih a fellow film-making friend, named, I kid you not, Wolfgang (who also had a love of werewolves), we made our own version of An American Werewolf, dubbed Lycanthrope. Basically it was An American Werewolf in High School. Here, in honor of the werewolf, a quick sketch.

Nice marker rendering, Justin. Has really nice energy. I like how you did the hairs on the back of his head.

Thanks, Jess! This was a quick one, so I guess that lent to it's energy. There were a few minutes left to a work day and I just picked up the brush markers and copics and this is what came out.

i would have liked to see some more of the body or hands but still cool.
but an even cooler back story.

Thanks, May-Day. I've got lots of werewolf drawings that I've done thru the years, some of which may wind up on my 'Drawing From My Youth' blog. And who knows, you might just get to see some of that movie somewhere down the road!
