Monster Sketch Card Series - Now on Ebay!

I was in Jim Hanley's this afternoon and saw for sale of pack of 12 blank sketch cards and sleeves from BlueLineArt. I bought the pack, figuring it might be fun to do a few and throw them up on Ebay and see what happens. Granted, it isn't the sexy bosomy babe, Marvel super-hero or LOTR/SW depiction that's more the norm on the sketch cards up for sale, but we'll see! I'm doing a series of nine; these are the first three. Who knows, I might just do a Marvel hero or other well-known character later on. These were done with brush marker (and a few tweaks with Microns) and copic markers for tones. I spent about a half hour on each one. I gave them titles...and they are, top to bottom (clicking on the links will take you to each card's Ebay auction):

DAMN NICE JOB for 30 minutes a piece. Of the six so far "From The Other Side" is my favorite. I agree that they're probably a change from the "...sexy bosomy babe(s)"...definitely should attract some interest because of it. Good Luck! Looking forward to the last(?) 3.

ps. just one comment. you buried the "SKETCH CARD" on all the others but this card and "The Redeemer." I think you should go back in and do the same for these 2.

Thanks! I hope to finish the last three tonight. That'll leave three more blank cards left, for which I think I'll do well known characters.

You're right about the 'sketchcard' wording...I should cover it up in those two...I was thrown off by the lettering there, until I realized it wasn't saying 'Marvel Masterpieces!' lol...so no need to keep it visible.

Thanks, Carlos. I'm gonna keep these guys just gray tones/black and white. I will add some color, though, to whatever else I do afterwards - incd. those Marvel cards!
